Anima Negra “Quibia”
2021, Giró Ros/Premsal, Mallorca, Spain
Crafted from old vines of native Mallorcan varietals, this distinctive white wine reflects both the coastal influence of its island terroir and the obsessive dedication of the winemakers, Pere and Miquelangel, to sustainable and biodynamic practices. Bright and elegant, with a distinctive and appealing salinity, this wine is your dream Mallorca beach holiday in a bottle.
Domaine Turner Pageot “Lucette” Blanc
2020, Roussanne/Piquepoul/Vermentino/Muscat, Loire Valley
Emmanuel Pageot and Karen Turner are a husband-and-wife team. Karen, an Australian scientist turned winemaker, oversees cellar work. Emmanuel, a French sommelier turned farmer, tends the vines. They met while working at Domaine Hugel in Alsace and discovered a shared passion for building and exploring flavors in wine. This wine reflects their ethos: the product is dictated by what is available in the vineyard, not by a preconceived strategy or marketing plan. This field blend utilizes Piquepoul for brightness and Roussanne for weight. The nose shows citrus and delicate tropical fruit; the palate is round and mid-bodied, with enough acidity to cut through rich dishes.
Ipso Facto “Maybe It’s Good News”
2023, Chardonnay, Edna Valley, CA
This single-vineyard Chardonnay comes from the Edna Valley AVA on California’s Central Coast, approximately five miles from the Pacific Ocean. Edna Valley is known for exceptional Chardonnay due to its cooling coastal breezes and diverse soils—a mixture of sandy clay, clay loam, and volcanic ash. This wine is made by Andrew Jones of Field Recordings and produced with minimal intervention.

Offscript “Intérieur”
2024, Carbonic Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley, CA
Offscript is an incubation brand that empowers up-and-coming winemaking voices. This fully carbonically macerated Zinfandel is the brainchild of winemaker Molly Felts. Sourced from a single vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley subregion of Sonoma County, “Intérieur” balances black pepper spice with jammy raspberry notes. Delicious at room temperature or with a slight chill.
Makarounas “En Arhi”
2022, Cabernet Franc, Paphos, Cyprus
Makarounas is a family winery from the village of Letymbou, Cyprus. Founded in 2016 by Theodoros Makarounas after studying at UC Davis, it is the only winery in Cyprus producing wine entirely from privately owned vineyards. Cabernet Franc is incredibly rare in Cyprus, but these vines are over 35 years old, yielding a wine that balances dark fruit, earthy vegetal notes, and minerality. Pairs beautifully with rigatoni, steak, or lamb.
Caraccioli Cellars “Escolle Vineyard”
2022, Gamay Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands, CA
A family-run winery in the heart of the Salinas Valley, Caraccioli Cellars produces this unique, single-vineyard, Beaujolais-inspired expression of Gamay. The wine balances earthy notes of clay and wet stone with bright red fruit flavors such as raspberry and pomegranate.
